A book trailer is a video that promotes and advertises a book. Book Trailers are similar to movie trailers because they are intended to capture the audience's interest and encourages them to want to read the book. The main difference between a book trailer and a movie trailer is that a movie trailer already has visual images to work with, and for a book trailer these images must be created. The purpose of a book trailer is to convey a sense of what the book is about without giving anything away, and yet captivating enough to leave the viewer wanting more.
